THE HUMANS BEHIND DIVEDIVELIVE
MEET YOUR DIVERS.
Bettina and Brittany weren’t always divers.
They were mothers first. Women building lives, raising kids, working, starting over, figuring themselves out, and doing all the beautifully ordinary things that fill the years.
Bettina has called Maui home for decades, raising her children on an island where she somehow seems to know everyone. If Maui had an unofficial mayor, she’d have a disturbingly strong campaign. Brittany is an author, an obsessive fantasy reader, and mom to two young daughters who have grown up watching their mother turn “what if?” into a fairly questionable life strategy.
Then they found diving.
What began underwater eventually became DiveDiveLive: cameras, livestreams, faraway reefs, millions of people coming along for the ride, and a life neither of them would have predicted for themselves.
They aren’t marine biologists. They aren’t explorers who grew up sailing the world. They’re two moms who fell completely in love with the ocean and decided ordinary life had plenty of room for extraordinary choices.
Now they travel with their families, haul an unreasonable amount of camera equipment across the planet, and bring everyone who wants to come along beneath the surface with them.
